Principal Accountabilities: Operations/ Professional/ Business
Advise Functional line management on HR strategy and support the strategy implementation in the coverage areas in Marketing, under general directions.
Coach the line management and employees on HR services and practices
Support the activities of Employee Relations special projects
Coordinate the line management on employee relations matters, under general directions
Support all recruitment and selection activities as a link between the line management and the Talent team (talent pipeline)
Support the implementation of HR processes such as PerforM, DeveloP, TRMs, providing advice and monitoring the quality of information and process.
Contribute to support the Talent team to map training needs and define an appropriate training/development strategy for individuals and groups
Contribute to Reward related processes (merit salary review, bonus scheme, updated role profiles...) and to analyse, recommend and implement competitive remuneration packages
Support organizational structural changes for all related ER/Reward/Payroll implications

Management
Organize, project manage and prioritize the HR activities following general directions
Review HR organizational effectiveness measures in Marketing
Support the Reward team and Marketing Function in developing people cost budget and strategic plans.

Leadership
Contribute to build the culture of a winning organization
Contribute to build high-performance working teams
Act as a role model for the BAT leadership behaviour

Relationship
Work closely with the Functional line management team, on behalf of the HR Business Partner Marketing, to help deliver solutions that are relevant to the business needs in line with the HR strategy
Work closely with the Functional line management team in meetings and issues that need to be solved centrally
Liaise and collaborate with the HR team and external bodies
Manage relationships with the other stakeholders involved on ER matters

Innovation
Champion throughout the organization initiative, innovation, teamwork, leadership, cross-functional co-operation, active change management and development of employees
Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
University Degree and relevant HR professional training (desirable)
5 years' experience in a HR Department preferably in a multinational "blue chip"
Sound knowledge of HR practices and procedures
Well developed influencing, communication and presentation skills enabling positive interaction with people of different levels and different status in normal and critical situations
Ability to engage and motivate colleagues and Managers
Initiative and proactive approach to the delivery of quality HR services
Ability to develop strategy, plan, organize, project manage and prioritize professional activities
Ability to bring expert advice and problem solving skills to the business functions
Ability to demonstrate BAT people and strategic leadership capabilities
Ability to deliver results on time to the requisite quality
Familiar with business performance and results
