  1. This shows that the government have no plans to curb unemployment in the country. When young graduates are roaming the street looking for job, every vacant positions end up favouring those already working. Which way nigeria? If young school graduates should resort to armed robbery and kidnapping, it will look as if they have an inborn criminal tendencies.

The government should be well guilded by their so called advisers, instead of being bent on struggling to receive salary and bonus increase (including bribery from contracts awarded by the government) at all cost, forgeting the poor masses they claim to represent their interest.

  2. God will bless you for your comment, you spoke my mind. The nation is not ready to development the so-called leaders are only fooling themselves. O ma se o.

  3. If the FG or FIRS truely wants to recruit 'early starters with integrity', it should advertise positions that will be sought by thousands of the unemployed graduates in Nigeria and not positions meant for the fully and comfortably employed. This seem to be a deliberate attempt to make the rich wealthy while the poor continue to languish in abject misery and lack.

  4. How do fresh graduates, and unemployed graduates benefit from this opportuinity?Obviously FIRS has no plans for them, please stop recreating jobs for those who are already employed, let us rather give opportuinity to thousands of graduates (fresh and unemployed)roaming the streets. This is the only way we can reduce crimes(cyber fraud(yahoo-yahoo),armed robbery,419 etc ,corruption, political unrest and so on,especially in this era of economic meltdown.

  5. May i ask one question? Are they ready to employ fresh graduates YES or NO,my answer is NO what about you, when i went through their requirement i laughed, they are looking for 7 & 8 years of working experience i.e then federal government will say that thay wants to create employment opportunity for its citizens.

  6. I believe there are some old fools that have served federal government for more than 20 years but still working up till now, please tell me all the people that committed crime recently were they YOUTH or THESE SO CALL OLD PEOPLE,then what are we saying revolution will come one so OLD FOOLS be prepared,Nawa ooooooooooooooooooooo.

  7. Disheartening! were these so called experienced people experienced from the start or was there a black hole that fused their own time so they had 8 years hands on the job, immediately post service? People have got to be employed first before they start amassing the so-called experience. Is our government averse to training young graduates????? SOS

  8. The federal government is just deceiving us, there is no plan to reduce unemployment in the country.

  9. If and when this govrnment is ready to cause a great change in this country, let them focus on the youths (fresh graduates/unemployed youths) cos they are the future of Nigeria and not the old folks, experience aside. Give youths the opportunity now. Seven years later they would be experience. Abandon them now, seven years later, this country will experience the worst poverty ever recorded.

  10. It is clear that the young graduates and the unemployed are not taken into consideration by the leaders of this Nation employment wise. The Federal Government and the leaders of Nigeria should better change if they want this Nation to develop and be at peace. A word is enough for the wise.

  11. no job for third class, f,g should ask universities in Nigeria to stop awarding 3rd class to student

  12. It is really painful, most of the vacancies are for experience professionals. but there are one or two with one/two year experience

  13. Federal Govt. of Nigeria, I can see that you have no plan for our young graduates who are out there seeking for employment. Where is your plan of providing employment for young graduate? Yet we complain of crime now and then but have no plan for our future leaders. We should not deceive ourself. You posted vacancies but nor for young graduates.

  14. It is painful that the government of this country is too selfish. When are we going to stop our selfishness and consider others? At least consider the young graduates when this kind of opportunity arise.

  15. its not fair, this life is not fair, its a pity nigeria does not need new ideas, we want to keep up with our ancient ways of doing things. but how do we grow?

  16. I only see the federal govt. as been deceiving themselves and not the masses.

old foooooooooooooooooooooooools, come out of your selfish attitudes to things in this country. o.k which is killing the development of this whole nation.

  17. I want to add my voice to the issue at stake. Let me first of asll ask why our universities are producing milliond of graduate every year without adequate plans to take care of these guys. I am resident in UK the private and public sectors have interest of the young graduate at heart and even when they are still in school They have what is called placement programme for thos ecoming out fresh in school. They value high school graduants (Secondry schools) and most of the banking and retails sectors the majorities of staff did not get to the universities but rather developed their skill while on the job. If the consultants who are recruiting for all these establishement in the our country Nigeria should be sincere to themselve, they should advice their clients how things are done in this mordern days. The Nigerian fresh graduate to my mind has something to over if given oppurtunity. Lets beging to face realities that the recruiters trying to please their masters for selfish reasons. Why should we be blaming youth who are lured inton drug peddling, kidnapping, armed robbery and thuggry as it happened in Ekiti re run election. I am not advocating that the profesionals and experience hands should not hired for the jobs they know best but provision should as well be provided for the fresh ones who cam develop from the rank and file and get to the highest latter. Please I want a change of attitude for overall interest of the unemployed youth in my dear country Nigeria.

  21. I do wonder afore time when the private sector is asking for unreasonable number of years of experience from young graduates but now I can se that it is not their fault. After all if our government is unwilling to employ us, why should a reasonable business and profit oriented outfi be willing to employ us! I pray God to help us in this country where we seem to be heading no where.

  22. Surely, the government and its acolytes are neglecting the youths to their detriment. They must ask God for forgiveness while it is not too late.

  23. Its ovious that our warfare is not even the consign of our federal government. I want to know where the so called seven point agenda of the mr president helping us, when they themself is not encourage the youths to be educated. I must say we lack leaders with vision, have leaders with selfish motives. Why won't the rate of armed robbery and kidnap increase, " solution to all these will be revolution". Shey mr president was asking why did Americans count Nigeria out of the G20 countries, i believe he has the answer now, a country without future plans for its young ones, with high level of irregullarities.

iwant to quickly commend my fellow nigeria for reacting to this issue.the government should candid enough publish the jobs that young graduates can easily apply for not the type of jobs that our grand parents can apply for.u can see that this is true when asking for a person with 15-16 years exeperance to perform such task.simply u are saying that young people should not apply.whom do think that is of that age that dont a have a job?

  25. it is very unfortunate that the fresh graduate are not given opportunity to have the so called experience.one has to start from one before jumping to seven.FG be sincre with yourself .None of you gained experience while at home but when you started working.Give us youths the chance and stop circulating yourselves at all government vaccancies.

  26. Thank u my fellow nigerians.Government, you're not helping nigerian youth-young graduates. So crime will continuing to increase day by day.No wonder our youth are runnin to europe to watch plates and do other things that project nigerian bad image,i don't blame them.
