Our client, a reputable construction company focusing on residential, office, industrial buildings and civil work is seeking competent professionals to fill the following position;


Project Managers
Duties and Responsibilities

•Display thorough knowledge and administration of contract terms, policies and conditions.
•Manage the handling and certification of payments.
•Oversee performance of all site contractors and review architectural and engineering drawings to make sure that all specifications and regulations are followed
• Ability to diagnose, evaluate and negotiate solutions to project management problems.
•Must be familiar with internationally accepted standards of quality, health, safety, and environment.
•Tracks and controls construction schedules challenges and associated costs to achieve completion of project within time and budget allocated.

Qualifications and Experience

• A first degree in construction management science, engineering or architectural science from a reputable university
•Project Management experience /qualification.
•At least 10 years in the construction industry.


Site Manager
Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the site's foremen performance.
• Contribute constructively to the official work program.
•Manage site correspondence with clerk of works and/or resident engineer
• Oversee the stock of material on site and ensure timely order of the required materials and equipment.
• Be responsible for site safety, health and environment.
•Encourage and promote team thinking between all the project players and/or stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience
• A first degree in construction building, engineering sciences from a reputable university
• A post graduate degree and a relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage
• At least 7 years in the construction industry.



IT Support Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities

•Assist in providing out of station staff and contractors with company issued laptops, including remote technical assistance of those laptops
• Carry out routine maintenance on all computer systems, appliances, server and ensure the optimum functionality of the mail daemon software
• Participate in annual Disaster Recovery (DR) listing and provide DR assistance when needed
•Configure windows software components and monitor backup and server checks
• Act as first point of contact for personnel seeking technical/ systems assistance and assist in resolving Microsoft office issues,

Qualifications and Experience
•A first degree in electrical/electronic /computer engineering
• Minimum of 5 years work experience
• Ability to respond to emergency maintenance service calls at ail limes
•Working knowledge of Microsoft operating system and Microsoft applications.
•Should be conversant with Ethernet cabling and patching, TCP/IP, basic routing including infrastructure such as switches, routers and firewalls.



Purchasing Officer
Duties and Responsibilities

•Purchase or contract for supplies, services and equipment required by the company within the limits of the current budget approved by the board.
•Supervise the inspection of all supplies, services and equipment purchased to ensure conformance with specifications
•Recommend to the Executive Director the transfer of surplus or unused supplies and equipment between departments and using sites
•Maintain a bidders' list, vendors' file, end such other records as are needed for the efficient operation of the purchasing function

Qualifications and Experience
•Minimum of a diploma in relevant field of study.
•Minimum 3 years of industrial engineering purchasing experience.
•Working knowledge in project scheduling, purchasing, shipping terms and processes.


Human Resources Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
•Work closely with business units and assist staff to understand and implement policies and procedures
•Assist in developing structures and systems that will adequately support the organization and ensure the smooth running of all HR functions.

Qualifications and Experience
• A first degree from a reputable university and relevant professional qualification
• Minimum 10 years experience preferably in the construction industry.


Foreman/ Supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities
•Distribute, plan and control the site, machinery, labor and building materials, and to ensure that all the foregoing are used to the best advantage and at the most economical cost
•Ensure that the program of work is adhered to on site
•Assist supervisors to study and define the short term program
•Direct and assist the site foremen in every way and develop their skills.

Qualifications and Experience
• A first degree in building, construction science from a reputable university.
• 5- 7 years experience in the construction industry
