    I just found this announcement and wondered if I was too late to apply for the job of expat General Manager??
    I am an European International General / Multi Unit Management, who, after 20 years of hands on management, have been during these last 2.5 years as a General Management Consultant in such diverse place as Cameroon, Azerbaijan and Tunisia.

    These were exciting and enriching assignments, especially that that my role was, next to advising in the general operation of the hotels, hands opening of a 5 star Resort, business development (rooms, spa and FB in Azerbaijan), set up of a new concept in Cameroon (the serviced apartments), training & coaching, organization of the financial departments so that the owners had on time reports, with the relevant info and that the operation had the daily info needed for necessary adjustments.
    However, I prefer the responsibility and challenges of doing the job myself, and preferably in Africa

    Being not only inventive, very efficient, & innovative in Operations, sales, marketing and business development, with the use of the whole product (physical, Unique Selling Point), I am as well very well known and respected with the international tour operators.

    By leading from the front and by example, being highly organized, energetic, diplomatic, my own very high standards and attention to detail rub of course off on my colleagues and employees alike, which makes it easier to deliver day in, day out the same outstanding guest service.

    I have been on a Sabbatical since mid July to be with the family and to take a rest but the itch to get back into the Hospitality Industry is playing up again!! As the children are at school in Belgium, I will be traveling on single status and am available very quickly.
