Job Description :
We are a young telecommunication company & manufacturer of smartphones with main operations in Lagos with huge growth potential focusing on emerging markets.

We are seeking a Wireless Messaging Engineer with skills in the following area, Web Management, Web Administrations, Telecoms content and Ringtones;

Experienced self-directed Wireless Messaging specialist with a proven record in building systems. Provide support for the Firm’s messaging technologies, including Email systems, Mobile devices, archival, and disaster recovery systems.

The person must have 3-5 years of administration Exchange 2003 / 2007 experiences in a large multiple offices environment with sophisticated and highly available mail topology; 3 to 5 years Windows 2003 experience and Active Directory Administration experience required; 3 to 5 years working experience with Spam filtering, Mail archival and Disaster recovery design and planning. Specialist to manage projects to implement wireless mobile solutions, including VoIP, Call center, WiFi and WiMAX technologies.

Duties:-
· Support Blackberry Push Email Servers as needed and Windows Mobile (5.0, 6.0, 6.1, and 7.0) devices with direct push technology.
· Build , maintain and support firm-wide Microsoft Exchange Servers
· Provide support for Outlook 2003 and OWA client
· Maintain KVS mail archival systems
· Troubleshoot mail routing, performance and critical problems
· Administer Spam mail filtering system (Postini)
· Administer Email Business Continuity system (EMS)
· Develop and maintain disaster recovery systems.
· Develop administration, disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
· Monitor performance and proactively administer all responsible systems.
· Provide reports on performance, statistics and usage.
· Perform compliance and e-discovery duties.
· Required to work nights and weekends as well as being on off-hours on call schedules.



Job Qualifications : Desired Qualifications and Certifications:-

- Networks, DNS, WINS, TCP/IP; WiFi & WiMAX a plus.
- Project management experience and understanding of processes.
- Cisco VoIP Certification; Cisco Systems CallManager, IP phones, gateways and voice applications.
- MS Exchange Server certification a plus.
- Telecommunications experience desired.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
- Experience with Exchange 2007 and prior migration experience is a plus.
- Good understanding of DNS, Mail routing, mail gateways
- Must have knowledge of mobile content such as games, video and music.
- Must have knowledge and experience of GPS mapping, GPRS.
