PTDF Scholarship How to Apply

Local Scholarship Scheme
The Local Scholarship Scheme (LSS) is expected to derive direct and maximum benefit from the Universities Upgrade and Endowment Programmes of the Fund. The Scheme is designed to encourage outstanding students in Nigeria to pursue Programmes relevant to the development of the oil and gas industry in Nigeria

Oversea scholarship scheme
Requirements
1 2.1 in Engineering, Geosciences, Science & Environmental Studies
2 NYSC discharge certificate
3 Not more than 30 years for MSc and 40years for PhD
4 Must be Nigerians
5 Must have a credit in English Language in SSCE or required pass mark in TOEFL or IELTS.

Note online Registration cannot be done this year but may start next year 2008

    Thanks a lot for giving a lot of less privileged and intelligent Nigerians the benefit of quality education. But i think it would be rather wholesome if people with H.N.D. are also considered because they are also Nigerians and as such should enjoy that privilege.

    please can you extend this scholarship to those with 2.2,reasearch has proved that those with 2.2 do better than others. i will also suggest giving room to everybody then conduct an apptitude test to screen out those that don't perform well.

    Thanks for all your comments, Please Most times I reply comments to people's email but henceforth, I will reply it here. Please PTDF as the name implies is for petroleum, engineering, and technology development. The issue of 2.2 grade being allow to participate, I totally agree with you and look foward to when PTDF officials will change their policy to suit those that graduated with 2.2.
