The Nigerian Operational Headquarter is based in Lagos and offers full local support providing installation of pipelines, platforms, sub-sea structures, offshore loading facilities and offshore turnkey projects.

(M/F) MAINTENANCE MANAGER WEST-AFRICAN REGION

Function

* The Maintenance Manager works in the Lagos Office in a multicultural team and is the technical backbone of the Nigerian organization. In this role you report to the Technical Manager.
* Together with your 4 man strong team you set up, complete and maintain a preventive maintenance management system to support the fleet’s technical staff of approx. 150 people.
* You collect and maintain all technical data on fleet, equipment and infrastructure based on which you set up and implement maintenance measures. You assess and compose the required spare parts and other tools stock on board and on shore.
* You assist and advise the Technical Manager in the supply chain and stock management.
* All this data is managed through an adequate IT management system (ERP) that you will implement and which will assure that all technical data on board is available and up-to-date.
* You are the training and knowledge base for the crew and engineering staff and you develop a training plan to ensure that the staff has all relevant know-how.
* You carry out offshore and onshore technical audits and suggest optimization and potential improvements in technical resources.
* You manage the day to day activities of your team and support the Technical Manager who you back up on leave.

Profile

* You have a master degree in engineering and you have a proven track record in maintenance. You have a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in an engineering role. Marine experience is not a must, but technique and engineering should be your passion.
* You display an open and analytical mindset and leadership skills.
* You are a hands-on, communicative professional who appreciates working in a multicultural environment.
* You are computer minded. Experience with ERP, SAP or other IT based management systems is very relevant.
* You speak English fluently. Knowledge of any other language is a plus.
