The Redeemer's University (RUN), a private University owned by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) is running with a vision to produce the future generation of God-fearing, creative, innovative and inventive entrepreneurs, motivated to build and sustain a better Nigeria and a better world.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the under-listed staff positions in the University.
A) Teaching Staff Positions:
1. COLLEGE OF HUMANITIES
Department of French:

Qualifications:
In all cases, candidates are required to possess, as appropriate, skills and orientations, illustrative and group teaching abilities with adequate research experience.
PROFESSOR (RUASS 7) – N3, 376,539 – N4, 437,940
• Applicants should possess a PhD degree from a reputable University with specialization in the discipline applied for.
• Evidence of academic leadership in terms of substantial scholarly publications in reputable journals in relevant fields of study, project design and monitoring, administrative experience etc. with at least 12 years post qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience.
• Professional qualifications where applicable will be and added advantage.
READER/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR (RUASS 6) N1, 825,489 – N3, 855,684
• Same as Professor, but with 10 years of post-qualification, full-time relevant teaching and research experience at University level.
SENIOR LECTURER (RUASS 5) N2, 318,074 – N3, 340,830
• Same as for Professor, but with at least 7 years of post-qualification, fulltime, relevant teaching and research experience at University level.
LECTURER I (RUASS 4) N1, 559,623 – N2, 125,752
• PhD degree from a reputable University, with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification working experience in a University/Research Institute and with evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals.
LECTURER II (RUASS 3) N1, 236,835 – N1, 731,915
• PhD degree from a reputable University in the relevant discipline.
ASSISTANT LECTURER (RUASS 2) N1, 088,043 – N1, 543,680
• Applicants should possess a research-based Master's degree in the indicated discipline(s) with at least 12 months, full-time, post qualification experience. Evidence of having reached an advanced stage of completing PhD programme will be an advantage.
B) Non Teaching Staff Positions
Works and Physical Planning Department
DIRECTOR OF WORKS & PHYSICAL PLANNING (RUHSS 15)
• Applicants must possess a good honours degree in Architecture, Engineering, Building, Town & Regional Planning, Quantity Surveying or Land Surveying, and must preferably hold a post-qualification degree plus at least fifteen (15) years post-qualification experience.
• In addition, applicants are expected to possess professional membership of a relevant discipline, ability to initiate development plans / design and give effective leadership to other professionals within the construction industry.
• Cognate experience in a Physical Planning Unit of a University will be an advantage. Candidates should have adequate experience in the Physical Development, Master plan Evaluation and Implementation of a University.
• Appropriate knowledge in the assessment and preparation of Capital Projects and in the preparation of Estimates to Governing Bodies and other Funding Agencies for Grants will be an added advantage.
DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF WORKS & PHYSICAL PLANNING (RUHSS 14)
• Same as for Director of Works & Physical Planning, but with at least twelve (12) years post-qualification experience.
CHIEF ENGINEER (CIVIL / ELECT/MECH) (RUHSS 13)
• Candidates must be a Registered Engineer with a good degree or equivalent qualification plus at least eleven (11) years post-registration experience.
PRINCIPAL ENGINEER (CIVIL/ ELECT/ MECH) (RUHSS 11)
• A registered Engineer plus five (5) years post-registration experience.
SENIOR ENGINEER (CIVIL / ELECT/MECH) (RUHSS 09)
• A good degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering registrable with the Council of Registered Engineers of Nigeria (COREN) plus at least six (6) years post-qualification experience or Registered Engineer with at least two (2) years post-registration experience.
ENGINEER GRADE I (CIVIL / ELECT./MECH.) (RUHSS 08)
• A good degree or equivalent qualification registrable with the Council of Registered Engineers of Nigeria (COREN) plus three (3) years post-qualification experience.
PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT (RUHSS 11)
• B.Sc degree in Architecture from a recognized University, plus at least nine (9) years cognate post-qualification experience.
• M.Sc degree in Architecture plus six (6) years post-qualification experience.
SENIOR ARCHITECT (RUHSS 09)
• B.Sc. degree in Architecture from a recognized University, plus at least six (6) years cognate post-qualification experience.
• M.Sc degree in Architecture plus thee (3) years post-qualification experience.
CHIEF QUANTITY SURVEYOR (RUHSS 13)
• A good degree in Quantity Surveying or related subject plus at least fifteen (15) years post-qualification relevant experience.
PRINCIPAL QUANTITY SURVEYOR (RUHSS 11)
• A good degree in Quantity Surveying or related subject plus at least nine (9) years post-qualification relevant experience.
SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR (RUHSS 09)
• A good degree in Quantity Surveying or related subject plus at least six lID-~~JS post-qualification relevant experience.
QUANTITY SURVEYOR GRADE I - (RUHSS 08)
• A good degree in Quantity Surveying or related subject plus at least three (3) years post-qualification experience.
HIGHER TECHNICAL OFFICERS (CIVIL/ELECT/MECH. ENGINEERING) RUHSS 07
• OND or equivalent qualification plus three (3) years post-qualification experience.
• HND in the relevant fields.
TECHNICAL OFFICERS (RUHSS 06)
• OND or equivalent qualification in the relevant discipline.
C.) Registry Department
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER 11/1 (RUHSS 07/08)
• A good honours degree (not below Second Class Lower Division) from a recognized University or equivalent qualification plus three (3) years post-qualification experience for Administrative Officer I position.
HALL MATRON (FEMALE) RUHSS 07/08/09
• Depending on experience.
• A retired female Principal or Vice-Principal of a recognized Secondary School.
• Candidates must be between 45-55 years of age.
HALL WARDEN (MALE) RUHSS 07/08/09
• Depending on experience.
• A retired male Principal or Vice-Principal of a recognized Secondary School.
• Candidates must be between 45-55 years of age.
HOUSE KEEPER (RUHSS 06)
WASC or equivalent plus one of the following:
• City & Guilds Certificate nos. 705, 706/1 and 706/2
• M.I.M.A.
• Diploma in Institutional Management
• OND in relevant field
D.) Bursary Department
ACCOUNTANT I - (RUHSS 08)
Candidates should possess any of the following:
• Professionally recognized accountancy qualifications (e.g. ICAN, ACMA, ACCA, CPA, ACA etc)
• B.Sc (Accountancy) not below Second Class Lower Division with at least three (3) years post qualification experience.
• HND (Accountancy) not below Lower Credit Division with at least three (3) years post qualification experience.
• Computer literacy and ability to use Microsoft Excel are essential.
• Cognate experience in an Accounting Firm or relevant educational institution will be an added advantage.
EXECUTIVE OFFICER (ACCOUNTS) RUHSS 06
• OND in Accounting plus at least three (3) years relevant experience.
• Computer literacy is essential and cognate experience in an Accounting Firm or relevant organisation will be an added advantage.
E.) Information Technology Unit
PRINCIPAL SYSTEMS ANALYST I PROGRAMMER - RUHSS 11
1. University degree in Computer Science / Informatics or related discipline or an equivalent professional qualification plus nine (9) years post qualification experience.
2. A higher degree in Computer Science I Informatics will be an added advantage.
3. Candidates must have the following relevant skills:
• J2EE and core Java technologies; Enterprise Java beans;
• Unix /Linux; XML, JSP & Java Script; UML & ERD;
• WebLogic Application Server or Oracle Application Server or Tomcat; Solid SOL and some Oracle DB experience.
