Reports to Shift Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

Ensure prompt attention to machine faults and as well as quick detection and correction of technical faults.
Ensure the proper functioning of machines accessories and other factory equipment with minimum downtime
Ensure that the proper and standard operational procedures are strictly adhered to
Ensure proper maintenance culture, safety of machineries and personnel, as well as good house keeping.
Ensure effective tool and parts management
Training of Production Operatives
Periodic maintenance on all machines
Installation of new machines and equipment
Requirements:

Sound Knowledge of Production Machines and Operations
Minimum of OND in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum of 4 years work experience in similar capacity.
Ability to work shifts
2. Engineering Technician - Electrical (Ref Number: OETELECT0309)
Reports to Shift Engineer

Ensure machines function well with specified minimum downtime

Minimum of OND (Lower Credit) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering

Reports to Shift Engineer

Responsibilities:

Ensure prompt attention to utility equipment faults and as well as quick detection and correction of technical faults.
Ensure the proper functioning of factory utility equipment
Ensure that the proper and standard operational procedures are strictly adhered to
Ensure proper maintenance culture, safety of machineries and personnel, as well as good house keeping.
Ensure effective store management
Periodic maintenance on all machines
Installation of new machines and equipment
Requirements:

Sound Knowledge of Production Machines and Operations
Sound Knowledge of Electro Pneumatics and automation
Sound Knowledge of utilities (chiilers, air compressors, water treatment generators etc)
Minimum of OND (Lower Credit) in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics Engineering
Minimum of 4 years work experience in similar capacity.

Job Description: GlaxoSmithKline , a world leading Pharmaceutical and Healthcare company is currently recruiting for Technicians (Operator and Maintenance) for the Pharmaceutical and Toothpaste Operations.

Job Responsibilities

Experience in pharmaceutical Tablet and Powder formulations or Toothpaste manufacturing and packaging: accompanied with a sound knowledge of machines operation and maintenance
Ability to operate assigned machine effectively to meet the shifts target drawn in the shift’s KPI.
Ability to carry out daily and weekly care on machineries used in toothpaste or pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging
Maintain a high level of GMP and housekeeping, comply with EHS policies and report any health and safety issues appropriately
Carry out daily tasks in accordance with “ Standard Operating Procedures”, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Carry out basic maintenance tasks and give support to the technical in resolving identified issues
Requirements

A minimum of OND in Engineering or Sciences with good numeric skills
