An exclusive Corporate Restaurant in Victoria Island requires the services of a Restaurant/Bar Manager, Bar Tender and Waiters/Waitresses. Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates with energy and drive for excellent service delivery.
RESTAURANT/BAR MANAGER
• Plan, organise and maintain good management of the restaurant to achieve
• Good standard and modern restaurant services.
• Motivate and develop subordinates so that the restaurant staff performance reaches an acceptable level.
• Ensure all the food items and supplies are of the right quality and quantity and are well preserved.
• Responsible for food safety, good hygiene and safe working place.
• Responsible for estimation and costing of beverage and drinks.
• Keep sales records and ensure proper accounting.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of first degree in Hotel Management or a City & Guilds Higher Diploma in Catering and Hotel Management.
• Relevant post graduate or professional qualification will be an advantage.
Experience:
• Minimum of 7 years cognate experience.
Skills Required:
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of Computer is desirable
• Age: Not more than 40 years
BAR TENDER
• Maintain stock of liquor and other restaurant supplies
• Take order from patrons and waiters
• Prepare and serve drinks and wine as requested
• Collect money and account for sales of drinks served
• Perform other functions as assigned
Qualifications:
• Minimum of OND in Hotel Management or a city & Guilds Diploma in Catering and Hotel Management
Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years industry experience
• Age: 30-35 years
WAITER/|WAITRESSES
• As the title implies, wait on customers, take orders and serve snacks & beverages
• Announce dai1y specials, answer questions about menus
• Maintain professional restaurant service including restaurant cleanliness and excellent customer service
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 O’ level credits including English and Mathematics in not more than two sittings
• Diploma in Catering and Hotel Management will be added advantage
Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years cognate experience is desired
Skills Required:
• Good presentation and interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills
• Age: not more than 30 years
