Job requirements
Core Developer :Job Technical Requirements
Proficiency with a significant number among the following object oriented web and desktop programming technologies:
• PHP/mySQL, JAVA, .NET, asp, dhtml, AJAX, C++, adobe technologies (flash/actionscript, flex, air), GWT, myGWT, YWT, openlazlo, pl/SQL, xml/xlst, SOA, soap, lamb, python, cgi-perl e.t.c.
Ability to use multiple IDE’s in development work such as Dreamweaver, eclipse, oracle JDeveloper, net beans, flex, visual studio e.t.c.
Knowledge of various popular prebuilt modular packages like Moodle, SMF, Joomla, Droopal, Wordpress, Sugar CRM e.t.c as well as guided implementation of enterprise class modular software.
Strong knowledge of database integration with desktop and web applications using JBDC, ODBC, mysql e.t.c
Solid knowledge on how to harness the internet with respect to sourcing information, participating in forum and professional article posting and other web based activities.
Keen knowledge of security implementation in desktop and web application development.
Proficiency with graphic, animation and sound design packages like Fireworks, Corel draw, Photoshop, Illustrator, Swishmax, flash, Maya, cinema4d, 3dstudiomax, sound forge etc is an added advantage.
Job Requirements
Core Database Administrator (DBA) :Job Technical Requirements
Proficiency with multiple relational database softwares including oracle, MSSQL, Postgre, mysql, MS access etc.
Administrate oracle database both locally and remotely using command line interface and graphical user interfaces like sqlplus, isqlplus, enterprise manager and third party tools like ToadTM etc
Proficiency in SQL schema design both manually and using tools like sqldetectiveTM , phpmyadmin etc
Ability to administrate oracle database on multiple operating systems including Linux (redhat, novel-suse, debain, fedora, mandrake, ubuntu etc), Windows (XP, server 2003, advanced server etc), Sun Solaris, apple Macintosh etc
Ability to setup oracle database to run using Automatic Storage management and implement manual and automated database backup and recovery
Ability to manage database users and implement standard database security.
Ability to work with developers on the integration of various databases with desktop and web applications
Knowledge of the deployment and administration of various enterprise class software like oracle application server, Oracle e-business Suite, Oracle ECM, SAP, etc will be an added advantage
